Emergency Relief in Action: A Rapid Response to an Increasing Crisis

In the wake of Operation 1027, displacement numbers are increasingly vastly across the country, especially as the military regime has been cruelly targeting civilian populations. For this reason, we delivered urgent humanitarian funds to a trusted team on the ground, who submit the following report on what they were able to accomplish. We are so grateful to our donors for their ongoing contributions, and given the overwhelming need that persists, we humbly ask of other followers to consider support in any form. Thank you so much!

Once funds were on ground, SFH teams began:

  1. The purchasing of supplies (Food, water, medicines, tarp and blankets)

  2. Teams began emergency aid to those who were injured and sick taking those who were

unable to be field treated to clinics and hospitals

  3. Teams organised localised transports to evacuate the elderly, children and sick/injured

IDPs from danger zones. Where they received shelter kits and supplies.

Purchasing was completed in advance, to ensure once civilians were moved to safety, they were given individual supply packs. Medical technicians, medics and nurses were dispersed immediately to areas with mass casualties and injuries, after assessment, local ambulances were used to evacuate the sick and injured to proper facilities. Local transports offered their services to aid teams with evacuations and distribution of supplies as well as shelter kits.

Utilising the funding given SFH teams were able to reach those who were in imminent danger, through proper management, teams were able to provide supplies, shelter kits and medical aid to IDPs fleeing active conflict areas including giving emergency hospital aid to persons injured due to conflict and those who were too sick to treat in field.

Outcome 1

SFH was able to avoid SAC forces to provide lifesaving supplies to hundreds of IDPS based on this donation.

Food sources reached vulnerable IDP groups, giving support to hundreds of persons and temporarily solving imminent malnutrition issues.

Outcome 2
With the help of our CDM medical workers who are part of the SFH team, hundreds have received in field care, in transit care and transportation to hospitals to receive aid for healthcare issues which were not possible to treat in field.

We are extremely grateful for the donation, with your support we have been able to help in a further manner than we would have been able to and ensure persons received longer term support other than just immediate care. We are truly grateful for the support, we will continue to do our best to help as many people as possible.
